Welcome to Harmony
Lodge 184 F. & A. M. located in the northwest corner of Tennessee just minutes from beautiful Reelfoot Lake
and the Mississippi River. Here you will
find some of the best hunting and fishing around. While here, we would
encourage you to pay us a visit, where hometown hospitality and Brotherly
love prevail. Harmony Lodge meets the First Thursday of each month. We
eat at 6:00 PM. and
start meetings at 7:00 PM
About Us
Harmony Lodge was
charted on October
11, 1851. We have met in various locations down through the
years, one being upstairs at the former Jones Grocery Store in East End
Tiptonville. Another location was the Old Strand Theater in downtown
Tiptonville where we stayed until we built the new lodge in 2005. In1862
Harmony Lodge was used by the Confederate Army as a hospital. We are
composed of members throughout the community from the Kentucky line to the hills of Obion Co.
The members of Ridgley Lodge 597 meet here since they consolidated with
Harmony Lodge.
Harmony Lodge has
various activities that we sponsor or work with throughout the year. One of
the biggest is the Christmas for Kids where Toys, Gifts, Candy and Bibles
are given to needy children each year while visiting Santa Claus. We donate
to the American Cancer Society and to various actives through the Grand
Lodge such as the Hospital Hospitality House, and Organ donor awareness
program.
We Are Located:
We are located in
Tiptonville TN. on HWY. 78 S. next door to Strayhorn
Photography. Our new lodge is the beige brick building cattycorner
across the street from the Dairy Queen. If you are coming from Reelfoot Lake on Hwy. 21-22 turn left at the
first red light in Tiptonville. We are located on the left side of the
road.
If you are
traveling from Kentucky to Tennessee on Hwy. 78
South, our lodge will be on the left side of the road after you go through
the red light. We are next to Port Howard’s Restaurant.
If
you are coming in from Memphis TN. on Hwy. 78 North you will come to
Ridgley TN. continue straight till you reach Tiptonville city limits. We
will be aprox.1/4 mile from the Food Rite sign, on the right side of the
highway next door to Strayhorn Photography.
